Chesterton
Community College Pool
We have a
session at Chesterton Community College(01223 576110)
on Gilbert Road on Sundays between 4.30
and 5.30pm.
These sessions are aimed at more able children (from 6 years
upwards) with an objective of learning to swim A parent
or sibling can go into the pool if necessary. These are
structured lessons for those wanting to further develop their
swimming skills in a deeper pool. It is recognised that the
Windmill pools may be too shallow for older, larger children,
so the Chesterton pool is also aimed at this group of children
irrespective of their swimming ability. However if the child is
particularly immobile, they may find the warmth of the Windmill
Hydrotherapy pool more comfortable. Cost,
normal child entry for Chesterton
Pool, see website.
